TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - At Godby High School on Wednesday, a Lady Cougar basketball standout put pen to paper, making things official to play at the next level.
Justice White signed with Hesston College, a two year junior college, out of Kansas Wednesday morning. White was injured in her senior season, playing just three games, where she averaged 6.4 points and 4.2 rebounds per game.
White said Hesston is a family school, and she's excited to continue her career.
"Having my mom here and all my friends come and support me, that's what makes it so special," she said Wednesday. "I'm very excited. This is something I've wanted to do ever since I was really little."
White said she plans on studying pre-med, with plans to become an orthopedic surgeon.
