TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Wednesday was potentially a big night for Godby head coach Andy Colville. The coach, in his tenth season at Godby High, was on the hunt for win number 400 in his career.
Godby opened up strong against FAMU DRS, and never looked back, cruising to the 93-58 win over the Baby Rattlers.
The win, Coach Colville's 209th at Godby, his 400th overall, and while he was happy, he is more focused on the future.
"Just keep on fighting, and make sure these young people are doing what they're supposed to do," he said. "They try to make sure I do what I'm supposed to do so it works out. All these wins are really the kids that played for me. I just try to get them to the right spots."
Godby returns to action Saturday when they host Rockledge at 4:00.
