Godby Advances to Regional Finals after Timeout Mistake

Tallahassee, FL (WTXL)  -- Two Quan Jackson free throws put Godby into  the Regional Finals of the 5A Playoffs.    Godby tops Rickards 49-47.  With the game tied at 47 in the 4th quarter,  Rickards was called for a technical foul after using a timeout the Raiders not have.   Jackson then hit two free throws to give Godby the lead for good.  He led the Cougars with 14 points.   After the game, Rickards Coach Eli Bryant took full responsibility for the mistake.  Godby takes on Bishop Kenny in Jacksonville Friday at 7pm.
