TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Fans will get their first look at the Florida State football team under head coach Willie Taggart on April 14 with the SunTrust Garnet and Gold Spring Football Game presented by Kia beginning at 6 p.m. in Doak Campbell Stadium.
The spring game weekend will feature a throwback theme with elements that pay homage to some of the great eras of FSU football. A number of tributes are scheduled throughout the weekend, and fans are encouraged to join in the retro spirit with their game-day gear. One highlight of the weekend is the Florida State Football Alumni Game to be played at halftime with many familiar names and faces, along with some surprises, returning to play on Bobby Bowden Field once again.
Following the game, the I Love the 90’s Tour will stop in Tallahassee for an in-stadium concert with Salt-N-Pepa, Vanilla Ice and Rob Base to continue the throwback theme. The post-game celebration also includes fireworks after the concert.
Tickets for the Garnet and Gold Spring Football Game are $5 in advance or $10 at the stadium on the day of the game. In addition to the general admission tickets, Champions Club tickets also are on sale. All tickets can be purchased at Seminoles.com in advance.
