TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - A future Seminole received one of the highest honors for a high school basketball player on Thursday. Shakayla Thomas was named a McDonald's All-American.
Thomas will now get the opportunity to compete in the annual all star event which is scheduled for April 2.
She will become the third McDonald's All American to sign with Florida State in the last four years.
The Seminoles have signed more McDonald’s All-Americans than any college in the state of Florida.
