TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Second-ranked Florida State (10-1-0, 3-0-0) takes its six-match win streak and undefeated ACC record on the road this weekend as the Seminoles head south to face Miami (2-8-1, 0-2-1) on Saturday, October 4 at Cobb Stadium. First kick is scheduled for 7 p.m.

FSU is coming off a hard fought 1-0 shutout victory over then second-ranked Virginia this past Sunday as the Seminoles handed the Cavaliers their first loss of the season. Florida State and North Carolina sit atop the league standings with nine points and identical 3-0-0 records. The two schools are also the only two remaining undefeated teams in the league.

Florida State has also not yielded a goal through the first three league matches as the Seminoles have outscored the opposition 9-0.

FSU’s last visit to Miami resulted in the last Hurricane victory in the series as the Canes scored a late goal for a 1-0 victory back in 2012. The match was also played in unfavorable weather conditions courtesy of Hurricane Sandy in the tropics.

The Seminoles have won 13 of the last 14 from the Hurricanes and six of eight all-time in Miami. Florida State has outscored the Canes 41-10 over the last 14 matches while posting five shutouts.
