UMAG, Croatia – Florida State sand volleyball rising junior All-American Jace Pardon finished in a tie for ninth at the FIVB Beach Volleyball U21 World Championships in Umag, Croatia, last week.
Pardon and her partner, Alexa Strange, advanced to the final 16 in the bracket play portion of event which featured 39 teams from across the globe.
The U.S. pair finished 1-0 in the qualifying round, 2-1 in pool play and 1-1 in the bracket portion for an overall mark of 4-2.
In two seasons at Florida State, Pardon has established herself as one of the nation’s top collegiate sand volleyball players, amassing 73 wins and capturing AVCA All-America honors in 2013.
