TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - The Thomasville football team had one stellar season, 12-1 on the year, and reached the third round of the playoffs. With a talented team comes talented players, and some of those players, signed college scholarships on Wednesday.

Former Scholar Athlete of the Week Jorium Jones signed with Mercer as a preferred walk-on, while wideout Tyler Knuckles will head to Westminster College in Pennsylvania.

Pierson Weatherspoon inked with Kentucky Christian, and punter Garrett Poole will head to Lagrange.

"All four of these guys great academic kids for us and great program kids," said head coach Zach Grage. "All of them I believe are four year players which is really, really, really rare in today's world. They'll all be great and they'll be fine wherever they are. I don't expect any of them to falter wherever they are in their decision, so I'm proud of them."
