KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Former Tallahassee Community College Eagle Lorenzo Cain took MVP honors in the American League Championship Series. Cain and the Kansas City Royals swept the Baltimore Orioles and advanced to the World Series.
Cain had eight hits in the series which matched the franchise record for an ALCS and made a number of highlight catches in the outfield.
The Royals will now wait to see if they will face the San Francisco Giants or the St Louis Cardinals next week in the World Series.
