PITTSBURGH, Pa. - William Gay is returning to Pittsburgh, according to his agent, Jerrold Colton.
Colton Tweeted Monday morning, "Thrilled that William Gay has signed to return to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Had other options, but his heart is with Steeler Nation." Gay began his career with Pittsburgh after being drafted by the Steelers in 2007, but spent last season in Arizona after signing with the Cardinals in March 2012.
The Steelers officially announced Gay's signing Monday afternoon. The deal is for three years, but financial terms were not made available.
Gay is a Tallahassee native and played his high school ball for the Rickards Raiders. He played in college at Louisville.
