BETHESDA, Md. - With not enough players qualifying for the British Open the R&A is turning to an alternate list that will allow former Seminole Brooks Koepka to join the field.
The additional spots were created largely by a number of players who qualified more than one way.
Other players who can plan on playing Royal Liverpool on July 17-20 along with Koepka include Erik Compton, K.J. Choi, Charles Howell III and Fredrik Jacobson. Jacobson squandered a chance to earn one of four spots available to top finishers in the Quicken Loans National.
