TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Current Florida State women's basketball players taught the ins and outs of the game to potential future Noles this week at their "Future Noles" camp.
The camp is the first of several head coach Sue Semrau and the program will host over the coming weeks, this one geared towards girls ages 7-12.
"It's really fun to be able to give back to the community," said Coach Sue on Thursday. "The kids in the community are being taught by our players, and are being taught by a great staff of coaches and really learning how to love the game of basketball."
"I was really excited when I realized we actually got to hang out with them," exclaimed Katie Chapman, a camper. "I'm like, whoa Mom, we get to hang out with the players! I've learned a lot of the stances and a lot about the dribbling and shooting. It's been a lot of fun."
The "Future Noles" camp wrapped up on Thursday.
