TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida State volleyball team had quite the run in 2014, rattling off 24 straight wins, and finishing the season 30-3 after falling in the Sweet Sixteen.

The ladies journey to get back to the postseason, and even further than last year, began Monday in Tully Gym, as the Seminoles opened practice for the 2015 season.

If last year the Noles were young, this season is all about experience, as FSU lost just two senior and returns four starters from the squad. The biggest talking point for FSU? That 3-1 loss to BYU in the Regional Semis, a feeling the ladies can't wait to avenge.

"It's hitting a lot of us right now thinking about it," said Katie Horton, a junior. "We just want to come out and do the best we can, and work as hard as we can during these two weeks and get right into it in the season. There's no holding back for us."

"The girls were disappointed in losing the way we did in the Sweet Sixteen," said head coach Chris Poole. "We feel like we were a legitimate top four team last year, but at the same time, there's a lot of good teams out there now."
