Florida State's Winston prepares for home debut

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston doesn't play like a redshirt freshman.

The pressure of the moment and the spotlight had little affect on Winston, who opened his Florida State career with a near-flawless performance - 25 of 27 for 356 yards and five touchdowns (four passing and one rushing) in a 41-13 rout of Pittsburgh on Sept. 2.

Now Winston prepares for his first home game as No. 10 Florida State (1-0) plays Nevada (1-1) on Saturday.

The on- and off-field pressures of being a starting quarterback on a top-10 team haven't seemed to bother Winston, who appears as calm on the field as he is off.
