TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida State football team is 3-0 on the year and is headed in to a bye week at the perfect team, and those are head coach Jimbo Fisher's words.
After the Noles 14-0 win over Boston College of Friday night, Fisher acknowledged that the offense has some work to do, and over the next week and a half, the team will get back to the basics.
The Seminoles biggest issue? Youth, and that's just something that'll get better with time as the young players get used to the spotlight. Youth or not, Fisher said it's not an excuse, and added they just have to get better.
"You strive for perfection every day and you have to think that way," said Fisher after practice on Tuesday. "I thought we left four or five big play touchdowns on the field the other day against Boston College just on base things. We can't leave them on the field; we have to practice that way. We didn't leave as many on the field as we have in the past."
Florida State returns to action October 3rd when they travel to Wake Forest.
