Florida State earns top seed in ACC Women's Soccer Tournamnet

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida State will enter the 2014 ACC Women's Soccer Tournament as the top-seed, the conference announced this weekend.

The four-team tournament will be played in Greensboro, N.C. Following the Noles in the standings are No. 2 North Carolina, No. 3 Virginia, and No. 4 Notre Dame.

FSU and the Fighting Irish will start the tournament Friday, November 7. That semifinal is set for a 5:30 p.m. kickoff, and it will be followed by the second semi between the Tar Heels and the Cavaliers. The two winners will face each other Sunday, November 9 at 1:00 p.m. in the championship match, set to be broadcast on ESPNU.
