TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - Two current Florida State Seminole baseball players heard their names early Tuesday in the third round of the Major League Baseball Draft.
With the fourth pick, 79th overall, Taylor Walls was taken by the Tampa Bay Rays. Nine picks later, Dylan Busby heard his name, taken 88th by the Pirates.
Walls and Busby weren't the only familiar faces that went on day two. It was a happy day in the Francis household, as Chiles ace Harry Francis, who signed with Chipola College, was taken 112th by Arizona.
Brother Bowden, who just won a National Championship with Chipola and is signed to play with Florida State, was taken in the 7th round by Milwaukee.
Suwannee High's Sam McMillan, a former Scholar Athlete of the Week, also came off the board on Tuesday, as he was drafted 155th overall by Detroit.
