TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - Last month, Florida State University announced that this would be Eleven's final season as head coach of the Seminoles.
This year, he became the all time winningest coach in college baseball history. On Tuesday, Leon County recognized him with an official proclamation, and of course, Eleven taking none of the credit.
"It's a real sincere honor, and I very much appreciate this," he said in front of the County Commission. "We've been here 54 years. This is our community, and thanks to all of you for making it better."
Martin will enter his final season in Garnet and Gold with 1,987 wins.
