LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (AP) - Florida State freshman Roberto Aguayo has won the Lou Groza Award as the nation's best place kicker.
Aguayo was presented with the award Thursday during the 23rd College Football Awards Show at Disney. He is the third winner from Florida State.
Aguayo went 19 of 20 on field goals for the top-ranked Seminoles this season, including a long of 52 yards. He also was perfect on 90 extra points.
The other finalists were Anthony Fera of Texas and Marvin Kloss from South Florida.
