Florida High To Honor Legacy Of Cam Brown By Redoing Weight Room

TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - Cam Brown needs no introduction. He's best remembered for his fight against cancer, his smile, and his passion to play football again even after a leg amputation. The 18 year old Florida High graduate's life was cut way too short after he passed away from cancer in November.

His safe haven during his six month fight with cancer? The Florida High weight room. The Seminoles are making sure Brown will be remembered by those who enter that weight room for years to come, as the first step in redoing it in his honor was made Friday night.

$20,000 has been raised so far, and the family will work to design the weight room with his coaches. Later, coaches and students will help in the rebuild.
