LAKELAND, Fla. (WTXL) - Day one of the Florida High School Athletic Association's girls basketball State Tournament tipped off on Tuesday, and Big Bend schools went 1-3, with FAMU DRS the lone squad to punch their ticket to the State Finals.

On Wednesday, the fourth and final area school hit the court, as the Florida High Seminoles faced Cardinal Gibbons in Class 5A Semifinal action.

The Seminoles were led by seventh grade Tonie Morgan, who scored 15 points in the win, while eighth grader Jordan Rosier had ten. Florida High plays Orlando Jones Saturday at 10:00 am for the Class 5A State Championship.
