TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida High Seminoles baseball team entered Thursday's Class 4A District 1 contest with North Bay Haven 0-2 in District play. The two exchanged runs early, but Florida High pulled ahead for good in the fourth.
Mason Thornton hit a dribbler down the third base line which scored two runs to get the five run inning started. The Seminoles sealed up the win later in the game, winning 9-1.
The Florida High softball team hosted Chiles on Thursday night, and after scoring four runs in the first, Macy Mizell got a three run inning started in the second with and RBI double.
Florida High went on to win 16-6 in six innings.
