TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida A&M men's basketball team has already doubled their win column from last year, they're 4-10 so far this season.
They Rattlers are still ineligible to participate in the postseason, but the team still has a lot to prove. FAMU looked to even out their MEAC mark on Tuesday night when they welcomed in Savannah State to the Lawson Center.
The Tigers led the Rattlers 31-30 at the half, but Florida A&M fought back in the second half. Thanks to Craig Bowman's team leading 15 points, and Justin Ravenal's corner three to seal up the win, the Rattlers improved to 1-1 in conference play.
Florida A&M returns to action Saturday when they travel to Norfolk State.
