Florida A&M Men, Women Pick Up Wins Over Delaware State Monday

TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - Both the Florida A&M men and women's basketball teams fell to Maryland Eastern Shore Saturday. On Monday, the two welcomed in Delaware State for a MEAC match-up, with both teams desperately wanting wins.

The Lady Rattlers opened the game 0-4 in Conference play, but thatnks to Jasmine Ballew's 14 points, FAMU walked away with the 57-52 win, snapping an eight game skid. Dy-manee Royal added 12 points and 10 rebounds in the win, which improved the Lady Rattlers to 3-12 on the year and 1-4 in MEAC play.

The FAMU men followed up with a win of their own, downing Delaware State 60-57. Justin Ravenel led with 20 points, while Kamron Reaves added 18.

Both teams hit the road for their next two MEAC games. First up? Coppin State on Saturday, followed by Morgan State on Monday.
