TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida A&M men and women's basketball teams hosted Delaware State in a MEAC match-up on Monday night. The ladies hit the court first, with the FAMU women coming out on top 86-56 to win their second straight game.
The Rattler men hit the floor in a thriller for the nightcap. Delaware State fought back to send it to overtime, and then in double overtime, Malcolm Bernard hit a buzzer beater to seal up the 96-95 win, snapping a three game skid in the process.
The Rattler men and women return to action Saturday when they travel to North Carolina A&T.
