Florida A&M Men's, Women's Basketball Teams Fall At Savannah State

Posted
SAVANNAH, Ga. - Thursday night was not a good night for either the Florida A&M men or women's basketball teams. The ladies opened up the night with a 65-46 loss to Savannah State, a loss where they scored just four points in the entire second period.

The ladies finish the season 15-14 (9-7 in MEAC play), and they are the 7th seed in next week's MEAC Tournament. They'll face Delaware State in the opening game on Tuesday.

The men didn't fare much better. They trailed the Tigers 19-18 at halftime, but a slow second half start sealed up their fate, with the men falling 52-40. Their season is over, as they serve the final year of their postseason ban.
