TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida A&M Lady Rattler basketball team is young, they have just two seniors on their roster. After picking up a couple transfers and a few freshmen, the ladies are ready to roll.
The Rattlers hosted Kennesaw State Tuesday night, and held on to a narrow two point lead at halftime. The Owls tied things at 63 to sent it to overtime, where the Rattlers prevailed, 69-67.
Khadejra Young and Shalaunda Burney-Robinson led FAMU with 15 points each. The ladies travel to Kennesaw State this weekend for a tournament. They'll play the University of New Orleans Saturday at 2:00.
