TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida A&M volleyball team is winless on the year, but there is something to be said when your schedule isn't easy. On Tuesday night, the Rattlers hosted the North Florida Ospreys.
UNF took the first two sets, 16-25, 20-25, but in the third set, FAMU led late before going toe for toe with the Ospreys. North Florida prevailed in the end, 29-31 to beat the Rattlers in straight sets.
At Lincoln High School, the Trojans hosted Leon in a Class 7A District 2 battle. The visiting Lions took the first two sets 20-25, 23-25, but Lincoln pulled through in the third, winning 25-19. The Lions sealed it up in the fourth to get the big District win 17-25.
At Chiles High School, the Timberwolves defeated Maclay in four sets, while Wakulla beat Godby in three.
