Florida A&M Drops to 0-3 With Loss To South Carolina State

ORANGEBURG, SC (WTXL) - The Florida A&M Rattlers hit the road for the third straight week as they faced South Carolina State on Thursday night. The match-up was also the first Conference game of the season for the Rattlers.

South Carolina State scored just two minutes in to the contest, kicking a 27 yard field goal to move ahead 3-0, and they didn't look back. Rattlers trailed 16-0 at the half, and fell 36-0.

Carson Royal was 12-31 for 136 yards and one interception. South Carolina State tallied 601 yards of offense in the win. Florida A&M returns to action on Saturday September 26th when they host Tennessee State. Kickoff is set for 4:00.
