On Monday night, the Florida A&M Rattlers notched their first MEAC victory of the season defeating the Morgan State Bears 51-48. Cedric Sweeting led the way for the Rattlers with 12 and Shalunda Burney-Robinson who walked away with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Despite holding a five point lead late in the 3rd, the Rattlers stormed back and survived as the Bears missed a three to tie at the buzzer.
The Rattler move to 3-12 on the season, 1-2 in MEAC play.
