SALISBURY, Md. (WTXL) - After two days of rain delays, the MEAC Tournament finally picked up on Monday, with the Florida A&M baseball team pitted against rival Bethune-Cookman in the winner's bracket.
The Rattlers, fell 5-2 to Bethune to drop down to the loser's bracket, where they were in a win or go home situation against Norfolk State.
The Spartans scored early, and rallied to take a 3-1 lead that FAMU couldn't recover from. Florida A&M fell 4-2 to Norfolk State, ending their season at 31-21, 19-5 in MEAC play.
