TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Chiles Timberwolves hosted their spring signing ceremony on Monday afternoon, where five athletes representing four different sports inked college scholarships.

Soccer stand-out Lauren Delp inked with Samford University, Tucker Criswell signed to play baseball at Methodist University, Alyssa Rudd will continue her career at Embry-Riddle on a volleyball scholarship, while Emma Tucker and Alex Wallace, who helped lead the Timberwolves to a State Championship this year in cross country, signed with Mississippi State to continue their running careers.

"I've been running since 6th grade, this has been a big goal of mine to some day go off to college and be able to run with a scholarship, so I'm extremely excited," said Emma of the big day.

"These kids work so hard and they put in so much time and effort and dedication," said Athletic Director Mike Eto. "We just appreciate everything they've done so for us it's an exciting time and I know it is for them as well."
