GAINESVILLE, Fla. - A total of 57 University of Florida student-athletes will be earning their degrees in commencement ceremonies being held Friday through Sunday at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center on the UF campus.

Many members of Gator lacrosse's first signing class will be among the graduates, as 13 from the team receive degrees this weekend. From the Gator track & field program, eight women and seven men will graduate. Six football players and five from the men's swimming & diving program receive degrees this May. A trio of baseball and men's basketball players graduate as well as a pair from volleyball, soccer, women's golf and women's swimming. Men's golf, men's tennis, softball and gymnastics will see one student-athlete apiece graduate this weekend.

Among the Gator graduates are Cameron Martin and Holly King, both who will be recognized among the University of Florida's six Outstanding Graduating Senior Leaders at this weekend's commencement. Martin is a recipient of a 2013 NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship and also received a $5,000 scholarship as a nominee for the 2013 Brad Davis SEC Community Service award. Softball's Kelsey Horton is a finalist for the 2013 Senior CLASS Award and also earned a $5,000 scholarship as UF's female nominee for the 2013 Brad Davis SEC Community Service award. Two swimmers - Sarra Lajnef (Tunisia) and Rodion Davelaar (Netherlands Antilles) represented their nation in Olympic action. Lajnef is graduating summa cum laude.

Six graduates were conference players of the year including two last fall - Chloe Mann (2012 SEC Volleyball Player of the Year) and King (2012 SEC Soccer Defensive). Earlier this week, four Gator seniors swept the American Lacrosse Conference position player of the year awards - Kitty Cullen (2011 Player of the Year; 2013 Offensive), Sam Farrell (2013 Defensive), Brittany Dashiell (2013 Midfielder) and Mikey Meagher (2013 Goalie).

A total of 41 graduates were part of Southeastern Conference Championship teams during their Gator careers and 45 earned Academic All-SEC honors.
