Tallahassee, Fla. - David Ogilvie was named MEAC Pitcher of the Week on Monday, as announced by the conference.
Ogilvie, a 6'6" junior transfer from Alabama Southern, pitched a season-long six innings with a season-high nine strikeouts and just one walk in the game two start at Bethune-Cookman on Sunday afternoon. FAMU went on to win 6-0 in 16 innings. The pitching staff as a whole combined for 21 strikeouts in the win.
The Rattlers travel to Jacksonville to face the Dolphins for a mid-week game on Tuesday night at Sessions Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 5:00 PM.
