NORFOLK, Va. – Florida A&M held a three run lead in the sixth inning but the bullpen couldn't hold off a Savannah State rally in the MEAC Tournament.  The Tigers came from behind to knock the Rattlers in to the losers bracket 14 to 6. The loss snapped a six-game winnings streak for FAMU.

Rattler starting pitcher David Duncan (5-5) took the loss after allowing six runs on 10 hits in 5 2/3 innings with five strikeouts and four walks. Duncan struck out four of the first seven batters he faced.

Florida A&M will face the winner of the Delaware State/Coppin State game in an elimination game on Friday, May 16. First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 pm.
