TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - It's no secret the FAMU DRS Baby Rattler girls basketball team is good, they've made it to Lakeland for the State Final Four the last five seasons, and came home with a State Championship in three of those trips.

Even after losing five seniors off last year's Class 2A State Championship team, head coach Ericka Cromartie is confident the girls can make it back to Lakeland.

It helps when you have Lousiville signee Jazmine Jones on your roster, but also a wealth of talented youngsters.

"They'll tell you, that's what I preach everyday, there's no I in team," she said of her biggest lesson to the Baby Lady Rattlers. "We're able to start them out young, and by the time they get to high school, and even like juniors and seniors, they're already acclimated to the program. Even if they're not playing at a young age, they're around it, they see it, they see the comraderie. That gives us an advantage to some of the other schools."

FAMU DRS returns to the floor Tuesday when they travel to Lincoln.
