Posted

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –  Florida A&M returns to Moore-Kittles Field this weekend for a three-game series against North Carolina A&T. The series is the final conference series of the season for the Rattlers with FAMU currently trailing Bethune-Cookman by only a half game for the top spot in the MEAC Southern Division.

The Rattlers are currently 11-9 in the MEAC. This is just the third time in program history that FAMU has won more than 10 MEAC games (2003, 2007 & 2008) and the most since they went 11-7 in both 2007 & 2008.

This will be the second three-game series of the season between the Rattlers and Aggies, with FAMU sweeping the series in Greensboro, NC earlier in the year by scores of 5-2, 4-2 & 11-7. Dating back to 2000, North Carolina A&T leads the series 35-33, but Florida A&M has won five of the last six meetings.
