Tallahassee-Leon Babe Ruth jumped out to an early lead on Midwest Plains Regional Champions, Bismarck, N.D and captured a 12-2 victory on Thursday at Ardean Aafedt Stadium. With seven runs in the first three innings, TLBR left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

Castillo racked up two RBIs on two hits for Southeast.

Tyler Broges recorded the win for TLBR. He allowed two runs in the first then held Bismarck scoreless over the next four innings. He struck out six, walked two and surrendered four hits. He helped himself at the plate going 2 for 3 and driving three runs.

Victor Castillo started the scoring with a first inning home run over the 375' sign in left center.

TLBR put a five spot on the board in second behind a triple from Beau Evans and tacked on another five runs in the fourth. A clutch hit into a fielder's choice scored Walker Wilson to open the scoring in the frame.

Tallahassee-Leon moves to the semi-final game against Torrance CA tomorrow at 6:00 EDT.
