TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - District Champions were crowned Thursday night across the Big Bend, as District Tournaments came to a close.
In Class 8A District 2, Leon looked to win their third straight title, while Lincoln looked to win their first since 2005.
Lincoln took a two set to one lead, but Leon won a close fourth to force a decisive fifth set, where they won 15 to 12.
The Wakulla War Eagles jumped out to an early lead in the first set over Rickards, and never looked back, winning the 6A-2 title.
At Maclay, the Marauders hosted PK Yonge for the Class 4A District 1 title, and the home team got the big win in four sets to claim the District crown.
In Class 3A, North Florida Christian is still perfect on the season, improving to 25-0 with their straight set win over Rocky Bayou to win the District 1 title. Community Christian School took the 2A-1 Championship over Aucilla Christian in four sets.
In Class 1A, Lafayette won their seventh straight District Championship with a four set win over Bell to take the District 5 title.
Florida High won the Class 5A District 2 title on Tuesday night with a straight set win over Marianna.
