Boston, MA (WTXL) -- Florida State improves to 3-0 after sliding past Boston College on the road 14-0. Quarterback Everett Golson marched the FSU offense down the field for its first score of the game on a 83 yard drive capped by a touchdown to Travis Rudolph. After that both offenses stalled. However, the FSU defense sealed the win earning the Noles first shutout on the road since 2003. Jalen Ramsey scored the Noles final touchdown with a 36 yard fumble return for a touchdown in the 4th quarter.
"Our defense was outstanding and another shout out to our punter Cason Beatty. I thought he was huge today; that guy was hitting punts and keeping field position. They were hitting them too. That's a guy that went through a couple of rough weeks; not played as well as he was capable of playing," FSU head coach Jimbo Fisher said.
Florida State has a bye this week before taking on Wake Forest on October 3rd.
