MOULTRIE, Ga. (WTXL) - State Championship games for high school football teams in Georgia kick off next week, with Colquitt County playing Wednesday night in the Benz for the AAAAAAA crown.

Head coach Rush Propst has been pretty vocal about the disappointment with last year's title game loss. They want to avenge that feeling this year, and win their third State title in the last five seasons.

"It'll be reminded I'm sure for the next nine days. Our kids will hear it a lot," said Propst of last year's loss. "We can't get so enamored about that. That has nothing to do with this year. We have to focus on this year and what we have to do to win this particular football game. We can't let an emotional, something that happened to us last year affect how we're going to play this year, because that nearly bit us last week now."

The Packers face Milton for the AAAAAAA State title. Kickoff is Wednesday the 12th at 8:00.
