TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Tallahassee Community College women's basketball team defeated Gulf Coast State College 66-58 in Tuesday’s physical Panhandle Conference matchup.
The Eagles’ were able to play an uptempo style which allowed TCC to get Gulf Coast in to foul trouble. Once they made it to the line the Eagles were able to knock down their free throws to build up an 18 point halftime lead.
The fouls would prove to be a difference maker in the game. Three players for Gulf Coast State fouled out and the Commodores were whistled for 29 total fouls in the game.
