VALDOSTA, Ga. — The #1 ranked Valdosta State Blazers closed out their regular season home slate, Saturday night, with a close win over #20 West Florida. The final score was 26-21.
The battle on the field was between two unbeaten teams with Valdosta State coming out on top. The Blazers also earned a share of the 2019 Gulf South Conference title.
The Blazers now own a 4-0 record all-time against the Argos. With the win Saturday, VSU is now in the top 15 all-time in NCAA Division II for consecutive victories.
