VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - The Valdosta State football team accounted for 426 yards of offense in their week one win over Albany State, and the Blazers look to carry that offensive prowess into this weekend when they take on Ohio Dominican in their home debut. Head coach Gary Goff said he's looking for much of the same he saw week one - playing fast, executing the offense, and eliminating mistakes.

ODU is not a team the Blazers are familiar with, they're not a common opponent, and coach wants to make sure his guys don't take this team lightly.

"They're going to come in here and they'll be in attack mode for us. Everyone will be after the number one team," he said Wednesday. "We have to make sure we don't take them lightly. That could have happened in year's past. We're talking a lot about that right now, so hopefully they're hearing us right now and know we'll have a good team coming in here Saturday."

Saturday's match-up is set for a 6:00 kick in Valdosta.
