TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — UCF 62, FAMU nothing. That was the final score here at Spectrum Stadium with the UCF Knights showing why they are ranked #17 in the FBS.

From the get-go it was all UCF football.

Head Coach Willie Simmons says they were over matched by UCF and didn’t give themselves a chance to get things going against the #17 ranked team.

The good news, now they have film that hopefully they can use to learn from their mistakes.

“Too many missed assignments, too many mental errors, too many timely penalties, trying to compete with a team of this caliber," said Simmons. "The good thing about it, is it’s on film now we get to go back to the drawing board, we get to look at it, evaluate what we are as football team, as individuals.”

The Rattlers had eight first downs Thursday night.
