TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Florida State football team looks to rebound after Saturday's 41 to 17 loss to Pitt.

Penalties, losing one on one opportunities, all factors in the loss.

Head coach Mike Norvell said after the first half, he was confident. The offense shuttered in the second half with Jordan Travis out.

Norvell didn't want to give an update on Travis or any other injuries until Wednesday.

Now, it's about moving forward for this team. Norvell said they have to stay focused when things don't go their way and continue working through adversity.

"You have to be confident in your own skillset and the belief you can go make the play, you don't have to do anything extraordinary in the moment, you just have to focus on one play, one opportunity, and you'll put yourself in the best position to achieve success," said Norvell. "That's youth. That also shows up with people at all levels. Continuing to develop in that confidence and that growth is something important for this team."

Florida State returns to action Saturday when they travel to NC State. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.
