TALLAHASSEE, Fl.a (WTXL) — The Florida State football team is still on the hunt for their first win of the season and hope to get it Saturday when they host Jacksonville State.
Head coach Mike Norvell is calling Wednesday's practice good, saying the guys are rising to the challenges this coaching staff is giving them.
The biggest thing for this team right now is focusing on themselves and improving their game every day.
"We're at a point where we need to focus on the day and continue to improve on the things we can control, to block out anything else that could be out there or trying to be instilled in thoughts and focus on ourselves getting better," said Norvell. "I thought from the meeting room to taking it to the practice field, to the effort, the pursuit, the APD level, all those details we're trying to instill I thought showed up at a high level."
Saturday's match-up with Jacksonville State set for a 4 p.m. kick.
