TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) — Saturday afternoon will be the final time the FSU men's basketball team steps on to the floor at the Donald Tucker Center for the 2019-2020 season. The regular season ends with a matchup against ACC opponent Boston College.
The Noles have not seen the eagles personally this season. So, while Saturday is the final home game of the regular season for FSU, it will still bring in some newness.
Head coach Leonard Hamilton explained that the eagles can be a thorn in the side of many times. "They're a typical ACC team that you have to be at your best," said Hamilton. "If you're not at your best, something bad will happen. Every ACC team is capable of winning and losing. Whenever you have two ACC teams show up, you know it's going to be a competitive battle."
Senior guard, Trent Forrest, added that he and his squad have to take every game seriously. "I feel like the ACC is the best conference for basketball and even when teams, I guess you could say, are at the bottom of the conference, they're still very good teams that can beat you at any time."
Boston College-Florida State tip off at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
