Francois has instant eligibility to play since he's a grad transfer. 247Sports previously reported that Francois was bound for Florida Atlantic University.
Francois was dropped from the Seminoles football program in February just one day after a video surfaced on Instagram where his girlfriend alleged domestic abuse. In January 2018, Francois was investigated for a domestic dispute with his girlfriend but no arrest was made.
Francois started 11 games in 2018 for Florida State and 25 games total in his career.
The Pirates went 7-3 last season.
