TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) — Florida State Coach Sue Semrau likes to have basketball games against teams close to where her players are from.

This Saturday's game is just that. The Noles will be in Baton Rouge facing off against the Tigers of LSU.

Kourtney Weber is a sophomore guard for the Seminoles, who will return to her roots this Saturday. She's a native of New Orleans and explained that her mother has already invited a ton of people to watch her play.

"It's exciting. The first time playing in front of my family since high school," said Weber. "It's exciting getting to see them and them getting to see me play. My mom invited the whole family so we should have a lot of people there."

For Coach Semrau, it's an honor for the university to have players from around the country come to play as a Seminole.

"We want to honor them back, regardless of how it makes them feel as far as the basketball game goes. We just want them to have that experience to play in front of their home folks and they don't have to travel."

The #12 ranked team in the country will face LSU at 2:00 in Baton Rouge.
